My visit to Lay Lao Restaurant was a delicious introduction to Bangkok’s vibrant Thai food scene. I tried their signature deep-fried squid, which was crispy on the outside and tender inside, followed by the sliced grilled Thai-French beef spicy salad—smoky, savoury and packed with a refreshing spicy kick. Both dishes offered a great balance of bold Thai flavours, making Lay Lao a memorable stop for a satisfying local meal in Bangkok.
